Human Rights and Burma Election 2010

This Election analytical report of Human Rights Defenders and Promoters (HRDP) examines Burma’s 2010 election under three periods of time, pre election, election day and post election.

The report provides statistics of voters and details a variety of different Electoral violation committed throughout the county – including vote buying, intimidations, violations of election laws in the process of advanced voting, proxy voting, vote counting and other violation of polling station officials during the Election Day. It claims that violations were committed by means of well-allocated fund and abuse of authority. Some important flaws highlighted in the report are the lack of public’s access to vote counting, repeated voting (voting more than one time).

လူ႕အခြင့္အရး ကာကြယ္ျမွင့္တင္သူမ်ားကြန္ယက္ (HRDP) မွထုတ္ျပန္လိုက္ေသာ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲေလ့လာသံုးသပ္ေရး အစီရင္ခံစာသည္ ၂၀၁၀ ျမန္မာ့ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲကို ကာလသံုးပိုင္းခြဲကာ စစ္ေဆးသံုးသပ္ထားသည္။

အစီရင္ခံစာထဲတြင္ မဲေပးသူမ်ားႏွင့္စပ္လ်ဥ္းသည့္ ကိန္းဂဏန္းအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ေဖၚျပထားျပီး မဲဝယ္မႈမ်ား၊ အၾကပ္ကိုင္ျခိမ္းေျခာက္မႈမ်ား၊ ၾကိဳတင္မဲမသမာမႈမ်ား၊ ကုိယ္စားမဲမ်ား၊ မဲေရတြက္မႈမသမာမႈမ်ား အပါအဝင္ မဲရံုမွဴးမ်ား၏ ဘက္လိုက္မႈမ်ားကို အေသးစိတ္ဥပမာမ်ားျဖင့္ ရွင္းလင္းေဖၚျပထားသည္။ ထို႕အျပင္ အဆိုပါဥပေဒခ်ဳိးေဖာက္မႈမ်ားကို ေငြေၾကးႏွင့္ အာဏာသံုးကာ က်ဴးလြန္ခဲ့ျခင္းျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း တင္ျပထားသည္။ အစီရင္ခံစာထဲတြင္ မီးေမာင္းထိုးေဖၚျပထားသည့္ အျခားအေရးၾကီးသည့္ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲဆိုင္ရာ မွားယြင္းပ်က္ကြက္မႈမ်ားမွာ ျပည္သူလူထုေရွ႕ေမာက္တြင္ မဲေရတြက္မႈ မရွိျခင္း၊ တစ္ၾကိမ္ထက္ပို၍ ဆႏၵမဲေပးျခင္း စသည္တို႕ျဖစ္သည္။
