The Network for Democracy and Development (NDD) is a Burmese political organization based on the Thai-Burma border. NDD is researching and documenting armed conflicts occurred throughout Burma after Burma’s 2010 Elections and has produced Post Election Chronology of Armed Conflicts in Burma. The report files important incidents of fighting covering 7 November 2010 to 3 June 2011 and organizes them according to the types of different armed groups – Non-Ceasefire Ethnic Armed Groups, Ceasefire Ethnic Armed Groups that Refused to Transform into Border Guard Forces, and Ceasefire Ethnic Armed Groups that Transformed into BGF or Regime-allied Militia Units.
